[ltr]The very first PDGA sanctioned International discgolf event in Israel!!


The event is planned for 22 April and 24 April 2011 at Hadera forest, which is about 30 minutes drive from Tel Aviv, Haifa and about an hour's drive from Jerusalem

A local discgolf event is also planned for 15 April 2011
at the Four Seasons Park in Hod Hasharon, which is about 20 minutes drive from Tel Aviv and about 45 minutes drive from Jerusalem.

All players are welcome to join us on 15 April and 22 April, and only the top players in each category from the day of 22 April may play on 24 April.

Registration will be separate for the events of 15 April and of 22-24 April.
We strongly recommend reserving ASAP a room for the weekend of 22-24 April since that weekend is during a Jewish holiday and the hotels quickly become fully booked

I am very much interested in participating to your event.
Please advise me more detail of your event. Place, tournament format, registration and many more others
and I will advise you my confirmation of participation to your event later when the detail of my schedule would be finalized.

Also, I will advise your event to my colleagues in Korea and Japan.
As I am going to participate to the Asia Open in Taiwan early February, it will be a chance to promote your event to the players from other countries.

-are you making the course alone or would you like others involved
-will it be 18 holes/portible baskets
-will there be a possibility to play it before the tournament

כיור"ית הזמנית של פלאו אני מאד גאה ומברכת על היוזמה של שחקני הדיסקגולף בהרמת האירוע.
פאסובר בשנים האחרונות מהווה נקודת שיא בקהילת הפריסבי, לפחות עד שנה שעברה לקהילת האולטימייט. אולם, השנה, יפה לראות שעוד ענף פריסבי תופס תאוצה והולך לחגוג ולמנף את עצמו באליפות ארצית.
פסח זו התקופה האידיאלית לאליפויות הארץ - חופש ארוך, אביב, סימליות של החג ומיקום מושלם בלוח השנה. מכאן שנכון הדבר הדבר בעיני לקיים את ארועי השיא של הפריסבי על כל ענפיו בחג הזה. מי יתן ו Passover יהיה מטריה לאליפויות הארץ בכל תחומי הפריסבי.

Discs are on their way! Shipping costs to Israel are pretty high when the weight goes up a bit, so I haven't really been able to put as many in there as I would have liked. I think there's 10 discs, mainly collectables so the Ams have something a bit different in the bag - it's impossible to get the right discs that open players will actually use! They should be with you in a couple of weeks.

Hope the prep for the event is going well, and wish you every success with the tournament and the future of disc golf in Israel!

Excellent, glad they arrived safely. Know what you mean about wanting to throw new plastic... I'm just about to put the main Spring order in this morning, and can't wait for them to arrive! Love rummaging through boxes of brand new discs looking for the new models

Great to hear from you!! Maybe someday in person.

I would love to attend your first ever event in Israel in April, if it was at all possible but it sounds like an expensive trip. Unless this is an all-expense-paid invite, then we could work something out.
