The First FLOW

In good time we are celebrating the founding of FLOW - The Israeli Flying Discs Association, it’s already running for some time but it is better late than never... The event will be held on October 15th from 19:30 till 22:00 and later on. update: 02/10/2003

This is the biggest event in the Israeli Frisbee history till this day, we've put a lot of effort in selecting the location, the evening plan, gifts and more. We ask all of you frisbee players out there to show up, many important things are about to be said and we would like everyone to be a part of this foundation.

Again- time and place: The event will be held on October 15th, Wednesday, Sucot Vacation, from 19:30 at the Boca, Karlibach 27, Tel Aviv.
We invite all frisbee players, at any age and anyone who's supporting the sport (naturally spouses and family are welcome as well).

Other details:

After a long search for a suitable place (we’ve seen about 15 places) we found a very good deal. Most places require different rental fees, other payments and a minimal order limit. The place we have found is classy, easy to get to, with a good parking and it’s in Tel Aviv, best for all players (that comes from around the country).

We’ve talked our way into the following arrangement:

• No minimal order (though we are planning on eating a lot)

• Good prices, good food and an excellent bar (and we have a 10% discount)

• Only 10 Shekels as an entry fee

Evening plan:

• A toast and a dinner.

• Great atmosphere in a place with two projectors, screens, karaoke player (we’ll get back to this soon) and a great staff.

• Presents for everyone.

Schedule:
 

• 19:30 to 20:00 - arrival

• 20:00-21:30 - toast and a dinner, during dinner: the association and the Frisbee future in Israel presentation. Open stage for anyone who wishes to speak.

• 21:30-22:30 – A small party is optional (Dudi - prepare the music), another option is karaoke (Arnon - prepare to sing)

• 22:30 and so on – the places is open for the public, all of you are welcome to stay and we’ll have a head start on the karaoke night...

Directions:

• It’s very simple: from anywhere you come from - get on the Ayalon highway and on the HaShalom junction, right under the Azriely towers, turn west (right if you’re coming from the north and left if you’re from Jerusalem and the south)

• Go strait until the big junction and turn left to Petach Tikva road, on the first traffic light turn right (to HaHashmonaim street) and turn left on the next traffic light - you’re in Karlibach.

• The place is on the right, just after the first building. You would see a big and green Heineken sign there, just next to the Boca sign.

• Parking is just after the place, maps soon.

Comments:

• The staff has asked not to toss the plates around and not use silverware for any kind of Freestyle moves.

• For the religious guys: the place serves Kosher food but it is open on Saturdays, we can arrange a pre-order of Koser Lemehadrin food, just let us know ahead.

• There’s a good chance that we’ll take pictures of each and everyone for Player cards, so be pretty.

We also need to know if you’re coming, if you’re bringing someone with you let us know. This is going to be huge!!!
