כפי שחלקכם בטח יודעים... נבחרת הנוער שלנו באולטימייט טסה שוב לייצג את ישראל באליפות בחו"ל. הפעם פניהם מועדות לאנגליה, לאליפות אירופה באולטימייט - EUC2007.

מתחילת השנה נפגשת הנבחרת בימי שבת לאימונים ומשחקים נגד הפיק-אפ, ועובדת מאוד קשה. עכשיו כשהטיסה כבר ממש קרובה, אנחנו מבקשים מכל שחקני הפריסבי בארץ, לא משנה מאיזה תחום, לעזור לנו לקדם את הפרויקט הזה ולתרום לנבחרת. כל תרומה, קטנה כגדולה, תעזור להם להגיע לאנגליה.
 
בשנה שעברה טסה הנבחרת לארה"ב, לאליפות העולם באולטימייט, וההצלחה הייתה גדולה. לשחקנים הצטרפו 4 יהודים מארה"ב, והחיבור עם הישראלים היה מדהים ויצר חברויות שיישארו לעד.

כל השחקנים הישראלים השתפרו בכמה רמות מבחינה מקצועית, וצברו ידע שימשיך איתם למשך שנים, אותו יוכלו להעביר הלאה לדור הצעיר. כל מי שראה את הנבחרת משחקת, שיחק נגדה, או אימן אותה צפה לפריסבי הישראלי עתיד גדול.

השחקנים השתפרו מאוד ברמה אישית וקבוצתית, התבגרו, ייצגו את המדינה הקטנה שלנו בכבוד, ופגשו שחקנים מדהימים מכל העולם.  אנחנו מאוד מקווים שגם השנה ההצלחה תהיה גדולה כל-כך, ואף נגיע להישגים גבוהים יותר.

הנבחרת לא הייתה מגיעה לאליפות העולם ב- 2006 בלי העזרה הרבה שקיבלה מהקהילה שלנו ומהמאמנים שהקדישו מאות שעות בהתנדבות לפרוייקט.

אנו מזמינים את כולם לקחת חלק פעיל בפרוייקט, שהצלחתו תשפיע רבות על ענף הפריסבי בישראל, ולעזור בגיוס התרומות. מספיק שכל שחקן יתרום סכום קטן והפרוייקט הזה יצא לפועל.

As some of you know, our Ultimate National Youth Team is flying abroad for the second and consecutive year, to represent Israel in an official international tournament. This time they are heading to England, for the EUC2007 - The European Ultimate Championships.

For the entirety of this year the national team has met each Saturday for practice and scrimmages against the Pick-Up team, played some other junior and adult teams, and have been working hard and growing stronger. 
 
Now that the EUC2007 is approaching we are asking of all the Frisbee players in the country, no matter what disc sport you play, to help us advance this project and support the national team. Your contribution will help develop the Frisbee in the country. Any donation, small or large, will be accepted graciously and will help us make it to England.

The national team flew out to the United States last year to the World Junior Ultimate Championships (WJUC2006). Four Jewish players from the US joined the team and made an instant connection with the Israelis - friendships that will last a lifetime. It was a very successful experience for the team.

The game of all of the Israeli players on the team improved in several levels. They matured and represented our small country with honor. All gained experience, which will stay with them for years, an experience which they will pass on to the younger generation of players. Anyone who watched the team play, played against it or helped train it, predicted a great future for Frisbee in Israel.

This year we are hoping to achieve all of the above and strive for even greater accomplishments.

The national team would not have reached the WJUC 2006 competition without the enormous help it had received from the many coaches, experts and the donors that helped fund the trip.

We invite you all to be a part of EUC2007, which will determine the future of Frisbee in Israel, and help us raise the rest of the money needed. It is enough that every player will donate a small amount for the EUC2007 to become a big success.
